The “Horizons Series” was inspired by the bands of color which appear on the horizon at sunrise and sunset, in various weather conditions, locations, and seasons.
The “Ancient Manuscript Series” represents an evolution of technique which expresses organization beneath abstraction, predictability underlying freer motifs.
The “New Series” is a further evolution of this technique that exposes layers beneath the surface in an unpredictable way, sometimes unsettling.
The “Natural World Series” are abstractions inspired by moments of observation which seemed paradigmatic.
